Something that is less common at web hosts but still needs to be looked out for is limitations on MySQL Database sizes as some web hosts will have a limit in place and this could be quite a problem if you are planning on your site growing to a decent size with a decent sized database too.

This is not to be confused with the amount of databases that you can setup, this is actually regarding the size of the database in Megabytes, that you are allowed to use.

So when you are looking at the features at a web host and you see that you have use of one or more MySQL Databases if you choose a plan with them its worth a minute or two of your time to see if they have a size limitation in place.

If there is nothing in place on the features list then have a look at the Terms Of Service and maybe even the FAQ on the website, basically anywhere that may state any limitation like this.

As i mentioned, this is a lot less common and i rarely come accross a web hosting company who have got a size limitation on MySQL databases, but there are a few out there so do check when you are doing your researching and see if a company that you are interested in using actually do this or not.

Sometimes size matters when theres not enough.
