When you’re on the lookout for a dedicated server you may have in mind “who is the cheapest” and “where can i get the cheapest deal for this” but something worth thinking about is if you are looking for cheap hosting then you need to ask yourself if its really dedicated hosting that you’re after.

If your answer to this is yes and that you do indeed need a dedicated server for your hosting needs then looking for the cheapest dedicated option might bring you problems, you might find a cheap dedicated deal but then find that the reason it is so cheap is because you get terrible support and maybe some other problems too.

This is not to say this would always be the case, and there is nothing wrong with trying to save a bit of money and rightly so you should look around properly and try and find a good dedicated hosting provider who can give you a good deal without you having to pay through the nose for it.

But you need to be aware of the difference of saving some money and getting a good deal with good support and a good quality server and everything that is promised with it compared to maybe getting what appears to be a substantially cheaper dedicated server plan that leaves you frustrated most of the time because of the service being poor and eventually you realising why a plan was advertised so cheaply.

So when taking a look at dedicated plans that you are interested in, take everything into account and ask yourself if you think the price displayed is appropriate for what the web hosting company are offering to you.
