If during the signup process you also receive a free domain or pay for a domain with the hosting plan then this will not usually be refunded as essentially it is seperate from the hosting plan so do keep this in mind and also read any available details on the web hosts website that may state that the refund is minus any other chareges just so that you know what you can expect as a refund should you wish to cancel within the 30-Day period.

But at least you know that this is an option at some web hosts and gives you a chance to try before paying out too much money and its nice to know that you can get all or most of your money back if you decide that the service is not to your expectations.
