When you need a VPS web hosting package you may not neccessarily need a huge amount of space and you may not be going through a load of bandwidth either, what may be important to you with a VPS plan may be having enough RAM in place to handle your website properly.

Some VPS web host providers may have a number of plans available but you may find that some will have larger amounts of space and bandwidth when you simply are not looking for these increases and that additional RAM is your main requirement, so you may upgrade to one of their larger plans giving you more space and bandwidth and now costing you more but only with a slight increase in available RAM that might still not be enough RAM for you.

Try and find a VPS provider that will be able to provide you extra RAM if that is your main additional requirement, after all it makes no sense for you to take a larger plan on now giving your more storage space and bandwidth when that is not what you are looking for.

Chat with the web host and see if they can give you the extra RAM that you need, at a reasonable monthly cost and without trying to sell you the next VPS plan that they have.

Ideally if you need yet another RAM upgrade in the near future and they can do that again then this is a much better solution for you and more affordable too as well as making more sense overall.
